Our Services include:
24-Hour Crisis Line: Both our English and Spanish lines are open 24hours a day/7 days a week to answer emergency situations.
Crisis Intervention: In person or over the phone, immediate and short-term psychological care aimed at assisting individuals in a crisis situation and calm them so that they can make informed decisions.
Domestic & Sexual Violence Prevention Education: We know that one of the best ways to end domestic and sexual violence is through education. Contact us for inquires on school, business, and community education and prevention services.
Court Accompaniment & Support: Advocates attend court hearings with clients as moral support and explain the process so that clients feel confident going into court. Shelter and Housing Referral: Need a place to stay? Our staff will provide referrals and resources about surrounding shelters in an effort to help you to stay safe.
Personal Protection Order Assistance: Advocates assist with filling out and filing personal protection orders in all cases.
Other Services Include: SA Counseling, Personal Assistance & Advocacy, Sexual Assault Support Services, and Bilingual Support Services

Paid Programs

MRT - Moral Reconation Therapy.  A cognitive Behavioral Program to assist with retraining your brain away from addiction and help setting goals.
DV Offender Programs (BIP) - a 17 or 36 week program for offenders of domestic violence against their intimate partner to provide tools and education working to alleviate violent encounters.
Anger Management - An 8 week program to address anger issues when dealing with family violence, co-worker, neighbors, or strangers.

About us

DVC provides services to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, elder abuse, dating violence, and other family violence free of charge.
We have protection order assistance, court accompaniment, support groups, and supportive advocacy.  DVC is not a shelter, we are an advocacy agency for Van Buren County.
